Blockwire reserves the right to suspend or cancel/terminate any account at any time for any reason. There will be no tolerance of any abuse of any of our support methods, which could result in immediate suspension.

Please understand that all information submitted on the hosting account shall be considered publicly accessible. A backup of any content you host with Blockwire should be protected and/or backed up by you & we accept no responsibility for loss of data or financial losses that are incurred as a result of acts of God, breaches, hardware failure, or any other reason. Blockwire reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate your use of our service if we discover such activity. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold Blockwire harmless from any claim resulting from your use or distribution of electronic mail services through the service provided through this Agreement. Anyone using Blockwire's services for spamming will be immediately subject to a $250 cleanup/network abuse fee. When a complaint is received, Blockwire will investigate and shutdown the account that is spamming.

Such corrective action may include the assessment of additional charges, disconnection or discontinuance of any and all services, or termination of this agreement. Which actions may be taken is in Blockwire's sole and absolute discretion. Blockwire believes in communicating with our clients and we try to work with our clients to resolve any overage issues before taking action which could cause a client's service to become unavailable. Bandwidth usage is measured on a calendar month regardless of Client's billing cycle. Both incoming and outgoing traffic are counted. Unused bandwidth allocations cannot be carried over to future months.

Privacy Policy

Blockwire's policy is to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites and services.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Blockwire collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Blockwire’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Blockwire’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Blockwire may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Blockwire also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Blockwire only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Blockwire’s websites choose to interact with Blockwire in ways that require Blockwire to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Blockwire gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account at Blockwire.com to provide a username, email address, and password. Those who engage in transactions with Blockwire – by purchasing web hosting, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Blockwire collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Blockwire. Blockwire does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Blockwire discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Blockwire’s behalf or to provide services available at Blockwire’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Blockwire’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Blockwire will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Blockwire discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Blockwire believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Blockwire, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of a Blockwire website and have supplied your email address, Blockwire may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Blockwire and our services. We expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Blockwire takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Aggregated Statistics

Blockwire may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its client websites. For instance, Blockwire may monitor access to various websites we host to prevent abuse. Blockwire may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Blockwire does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Blockwire uses cookies to help Blockwire identify and track visitors, their usage of Blockwire website, and their website access preferences. Blockwire visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Blockwire’s website(s), with the drawback that certain features of Blockwire’s websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Blockwire may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Blockwire’s sole discretion. Blockwire encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
